Fanny M. Frascella

Fanny M. Frascella, 87, of Mountain Top, entered into eternal life on Monday, October 2nd, at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in Trenton, NJ on Mar. 6, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John & Angelina Brogel.

Fanny was a member of St. Jude Parish, Mountain Top.

She was employed by RCA Mountain Top, until her retirement in 1990. Following her retirement, she enjoyed spending time quilting and was a member of the Chenille’s Quilting Club as well as the St. Jude Breakfast Club. Her other interests included traveling, crocheting, knitting, and a love for reading. Fanny’s ultimate joy was spending time with her beloved family, who meant the world to her.

 

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Florence, Carolyn,  Catherine and her brothers, Dominic, James, Elmer, Michael and Leonard.

Surviving is her loving husband of 63 years, Daniel N. Frascella, sons, Daniel and his wife Janet, Thomas and his wife Gretchen, her loving grandchildren, Brianne, Daniel, Ryan, Ann and Jane,  brother, Albert Brogel and wife Jennie, numerous nieces & nephews.

Fanny’s Mass of Christian Burial is on Saturday at 11 am in St. Jude Parish, with the Rev. Joseph Evanko officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Family & friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, PA. & on Saturday from 10 to 11 am in the narthex of the church.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Jude Parish Building Fund.
