Bernard Balutis, 81, of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at River Run Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Kingston.

 

He was born in Wilkes-Barre, the son of the late Anthony and Mary Shipula Balutis. Bernard was a graduate of Coughlin High School.  Prior to his retirement, Bernard was formerly employed as the Director of Building Services for 39 years at Heritage House Nursing Home, later known as St. Luke’s Villa in Wilkes-Barre. for 39 years.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Balutis.

 

Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Linda Larusso Balutis; son Bernard Balutis; daughter, Linda Grebek and her husband Scott; grandchildren Sarah, Samantha and Evan Popple.

 

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday at 10 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville.  Family and friends may call on Friday from 9-10am at the church.
