Bernard J. Slivoski, 63, of Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018, in the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre on May 8, 1954, a son of the late Bernard and Lucille Bozar Slivoski. He attended Coughlin High School.
Prior to his retirement, Bernie had been employed as a machinist for 46 years at the Ralmark Company in Larksville. He was a member of Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church in Wilkes-Barre. He enjoyed camping, shopping and buying trucks.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Judy Zbegner Slivoski; children, Jesse Slivoski, Nichole Slivoski and her husband, Jay Pascavage, and April Slivoski all of Wilkes-Barre Township; granddaughter, Alexa Slivoski; sister, Lois Bonner and her husband, Thomas, Wilkes-Barre Township; nieces and nephews; his dog and best friend, J.B.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 12 noon from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. The Very Reverend Thaddeus J. Dymkowski will officiate. Interment will be in Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre Township.
Friends may call on Monday from 10:30 am till 12 noon at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernard’s name to the Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church, 23 Sheridan Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
