Obituaries » Betty Karosa February 11, 2022 Betty Karosa February 11, 2022 Betty Karosa, 83, of Exeter passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at Allied Services Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Wilkes-Barre to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Botyrius Mazer. Betty graduated from Exeter High School, class of 1956 and Wilkes College, class of 1958. Betty was a devoted wife and mother, who loved gardening and animals. She was preceded in death by daughter, Vicki Kozak, son, Larry Karosa, and brother, Joe Mazer. Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years George Karosa; daughter, Karen Baisden and her husband, Roger, Staten Island, NY; son, George Karosa, and wife, Carolyn, Kingston Township; son-in-law, John Kozak, Kingston Township; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Turner and Marilyn Orszewski, both of New Jersey, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, PA 18704.
