Obituaries » Charlotte Doyle January 15, 2022 Charlotte Doyle January 15, 2022 Charlotte Doyle, 96, of Ashley passed away on Saturday January 15, 2022 at her niece’s home. She was born in Ashley the daughter of the late Gerald and Louise Knorr Sliker. Charlotte was a graduate of Ashley High School class of 1942. She was employed as a waitress at Knorr’s Café in Wilkes-Barre and was a production line worker at RCA in Mountain Top. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul M. Doyle in 2014 and by her brothers Gerald, Ronald and Joseph Sliker. Surviving are nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 9:30 A.M. from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Nicholas Church, 226 S. Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Nicholas Church, 226 S. Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
