Delores Aruscavage

Delores Aruscavage, 87, of, Pittston, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her bedside at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, Wednesday October 31, 2018.

 

She was born in Logan, West Virginia, a daughter to the late Moss and Marcella Dalton Steele. She was a graduate of the Pittston High School. Delores loved spending time with her family and caring for them. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, William Street, Pittston.

 

She has been preceded in death by her husband, Francis Aruscavage in 1995 and by her brothers, John & Thomas Steele and her sister, Lynette Leonard.

 

Surviving are her daughters, Donna Shook and her husband, Skip, Hanover Township and Kathy Hall and her husband, Greg, West Pittston; sons, Frank Aruscavage and his wife, Monica, Hughestown and Joseph Aruscavage and his wife, Rochelle, Laflin; grandchildren, Jeffrey Shook, Lyndsay Lavan and her husband, Brian, Daniel Aruscavage and his wife, Pam, Matthew Rynkiewicz and his wife, Ashley, Jason Rynkiewicz , Shelby and Sienna Aruscavage. Four great grandchildren.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, to be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston, PA. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Duryea.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, if desired, may be made to PSP Strong, 2224 Prospect Road, Mountain Top, PA, 18707.
