As Eleanor’s daughter and family, we would like to send out very special thanks to the following: Dr. Michael Grasso, her family doctor, for always taking very good care of Eleanor over the years; thank you, Doctor, and Dee, and office staff for always helping us with anything we needed.

We would also like to thank the oncology office of Dr. David Greenwald, who has been taking care of my mom for the past 32 years; Doctor, you saved her from ovarian cancer and she was able to walk me down the aisle on my wedding day in 1986.  To all the wonderful staff of this office for being so good to my mom, offering smiles and help; friendships were made over those years.

To everyone at John Heinz Rehab, where my mom volunteered for more than 25 years, in so many capacities, such as transporting, kitchen staffing, selling raffle tickets, and, up to July of this year, managing the front information desk: thank you so much!  I know my mom made many friends everywhere she went.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning at 9 am from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:30 am in Our Lady of Hope Parish, 40 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre.  Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.
