Helen Joseph, 95, of Mountain Top, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Allied Services Center City Skilled Nursing in Wilkes-Barre.

 

Helen was born in Windber, a daughter of the late Janek and Josefa Foryt Cyrana. She was a graduate of Coughlin High School.

 

Helen was a member of Good Shepherd Polish National Church, Plymouth.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph, in 2011 and by her siblings, Katherine Anistranski, Betha Sopranzi, Wanda Malic, William Cyrana and Walter Cyrana.

 

Surviving are her children: Raymond Joseph, M.D., Wilkes-Barre, Karen Falkinburg and her husband Donald, Mount Joy and John Joseph, Mountain Top; grandchildren: John Joseph, Raymond Joseph, M.D., Maria Joseph, Mark Joseph, Brad Joseph, Nicole Lewis, Amanda Joseph and Kristen Falkinburg; numerous great-grandchildren; brother; Matthew Cyrana, Metuchen, NJ, and sister, Frances Tizanno, Atlantic City, NJ; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.  Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.

 

Helen’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Allied Services Center City Skilled Nursing for the loving and compassionate care that they provided.
