Jacqueline C. Stelacone, 77, of West Wyoming, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.


She was born on March 31, 1941 in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Theodore and Florence Conrad Corcoran. Jacqueline was a 1959 graduate of St. Nicholas High School, Wilkes-Barre. She was employed as a dietary supervisor by the Mercy Hospital and by Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre and she was also employed by Sam’s Club in Wilkes-Barre Township for many years.


Jacqueline was a member of St. Monica’s Parish, West Wyoming.


Surviving are her children, Jennifer Kindler and her husband, Charles, Forty Fort, Denise Stelacone, West Wyoming and Bernard Joseph Stelacone Jr. and his wife, Patricia, Sewell, NJ; grandchildren, Robert W. Thomas Jr., Emilia Kindler, Ava and Amber Stelacone; sisters, Regina Reh, Wilkes-Barre and Maureen Dougher and her husband, Thomas, Wilkes-Barre; brother, Theodore Corcoran Jr. and his wife, Sylvia, Elysburg; nieces and nephews.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday morning at 10 AM in St. Monica’s Parish, 363 W. 8th Street, West Wyoming, Rev. Peter Tomczak, officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather at the church on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral mass. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.


Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre.


Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, Suite #7, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
