James A. Moran

James A. Moran, 74, of Dallas, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at his home.

 

He was born in Morgantown, WV, a son of the late James A. Moran Jr. and Ann Drugan Moran. Jim was a 1966 graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School and King’s College.

 

Jim was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Gate of Heaven Church in Dallas. He loved aviation and flying his own plane. Earning the title of pilot was an accomplishment he was proud of, and he enjoyed sharing stories of his experiences.

 

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Lou Leljedal Moran, and his children, James C. Moran and his wife, Lisa, Hillsborough, NJ; and Jennifer Moran and her partner, Jason, West Lawn, PA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jack and Madeline Moran, Estella Kerper; Carter, Skylar and Spencer Marso; and Gabriella Row; brothers- in-law, John Leljedal and his wife Patricia, Myrtle Beach, SC; Richard Leljedal, Towanda, PA; Ronald Leljedal and his partner Kristy, Towanda, PA; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Deacon Thomas M. Cesarini will officiate.
