Dear Joan, I'd like to extend my sincere condolences to you and your husbsnd and family on the passing of your son, James. It appears that he was a remarkable young man. I don't know if you remember, but our paths had crossed many years ago when we both worked at the Reading Clinic at Wilkes College. I enjoyed the brief friendship we had shared. I am happy to learn that you went on to have a successful career and a beautiful family. Sincerely, Diane

Very sorry to hear of James' passing. I remember his days at Holy Redeemer while I was chaplain and Dean of students. I was unable to attend his funeral due to a funeral here in my Parish. I will celebrate a mass for him in the near future and we are remembering him at the masses this weekend. Sincerely, Rev Joseph Elston.

It is difficult to put into words how tragic it feels to have lost such a close friend so suddenly. I had the honor of growing up with James through grade school and high school. He has always been a hard worker; even recently we had talked about his hopes in graduate school. Music was also an important part of James' life and an interest we both shared as friends. One of my happiest memories was traveling with James to the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland to see some of our favorite bands like Vampire Weekend and MGMT. James will certainly be remembered for his joy, kindness, and insightfulness. I send my love to James' family and friends as we all honor his legacy.

Dear Charlie and family, Please accept my deepest condolences with the loss of your wonderful son. I saw James every so often at the Wyoming Free Library when he dropped off food boxes. He was such a kind and pleasant person. Charlie, I never forgot your kindness of providing your boys’ hand-me- downs to me for my son when I worked at CEO. You are a gentleman and so was James. He had the same caring nature. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Charley, Joan, and Family, We were shocked and saddened to learn of James Justin’s passing. During my working years at King’s, I always enjoyed my conversations with Charley about a variety of topics, but the stories about his family were the ones that lit up his face with an eye extra amount of joy—especially those that focused on “James Justin, baby!” as Charley referred to him with such great affection. Please know we are holding you all close in prayer asking God that you may know His loving presence during this difficult time. God bless, Jackie, Jim, and J.J. Galvin

Drs. Charles and Joan Blewitt I worked with James thru the Senior Food Box Program I cannot adequately share with you the sense of loss I feel at this time. I want to echo this statement - "Often complimented on his exemplary manners, extended vocabulary, and welcoming style, he brought joy to all those who knew him." James and I had been talking about taking his skills to a higher level upon my retirement in 2024 we were both excited about the prospect. I thought very highly of James it will be hard to identify a person more worthy of taking over the reins of my baby - PA Senior Food Box Program then James. May God be with you thru this difficult time and guide you with keeping the footprint James left alive. Warmest Sheila Christopher

James Justin was a great little guy we first met in Ocean City New Jersey years ago on our annual Bubser (and Fam ) beach vacations. Charlie Blewitt family would always arrange to meet up with us for a few days to enjoy the South Jersey July weather. He was a genuinely kind person who loved to join in the fun with whatever the team needed - a password contestant…….waffle ball batter…….or celebrity bingo player. We haven’t seen him in many years, but sure he kept up what made him special to his family and friends. Sara and I are so sorry to hear of his sudden passing. Rest In Peace friend.
