Kathleen T. Wysocki, 83, of Plains Township, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Highland Park Senior Living in Wilkes-Barre Township.
She was born in Nanticoke on October 3, 1933, a daughter of the late Joseph and Kathleen Shean Grabowski.Â Kathleen was a graduate of Nanticoke High School.Â She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains.Â She was formerly a member of St. Josephâ€™s Church in Plains prior to its closing and she was a member its Christian Motherâ€™s Society.Â Kathleen was also a member of the Plains Township Senior Citizens.
Kathleen was an outstanding mother and grandmother to her daughter and her 2 granddaughters. She was truly their best friend; their shopping buddy and she loved cooking and baking with them. The four of them were always seen together. Kathleen loved her dog and companion, Gracie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Wysocki in 1988; her step-mother, Mary Grabowski, father, Joseph Grabowski and by her sisters, Pauline Roman and Marie Davis.
Surviving is her daughter, Kathleen Lispi and her husband, Albert, Plains Township; granddaughters, Catrina Ozgo and her husband, Colby and Gina Lispi-Murray and her husband, Michael; her great granddaughter, Gia, who birth is due in two weeks; brother, Joseph Grabowski, CA; sister, Patricia Johnson, Dallas; nieces and nephews.
Kathleenâ€™s family would like to thank the staff at Highland Park Senior Living for the compassionate and excellent care that they provided.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 9:15 from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 am in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains Township.Â Rev. John Lambert will officiate.Â Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Nanticoke.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 -8 pm at the funeral home.
