Louis J. Nardone, 74, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, due to complications from the Covid-19 virus.

 

Louis was born in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late Anthony and Rose DeFiore Nardone. He was a graduate of G.A.R. High School. Louis was employed as a production worker for Muskin Pools for over 25 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Parish, Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife of many years, Joanne Wichowski Nardone in 2016, and his brother, Anthony Nardone, Jr. in 1996.

 

Surviving are his brother, Vincent Nardone, Hanover Township; sisters, Elaine Haines, Plymouth and Rosemary Tucker, San Diego, California; companion, Mary Wilde; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in Our Lady of Hope Parish, 40 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre.

 

Family and friends may call from 9:30-10 AM at the church.

 

Those who are attending the service are required to wear a mask and abide by state social distancing requirements.
