Mary Ann or Mair as her husband always called her was a lover of music and never missed an opportunity to rock out at a concert or in the kitchen. Through her yearly trips with her husband to see as many lighthouse as she could she was able to travel through every state on the east coast. In which she became captivated with Maine and the Portland head light, lighthouse. Mary Ann greatly enjoyed watching her two boys play sports and never missed either of their games. Even being a team mom most years. Mary Ann loved to cook and loved the cooking channel. She enjoyed siting out on the back porch reading and watching for humming birds.

Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Gary T. Swartz; sons, Michael C. Swartz, Nanticoke and Matthew T. Swartz, at home; cousins Bernie, Harold and Richard Pinola.

We want to thank all the doctors and nurses at Wilkes-Barre General CVICU for all the great care they gave our loving wife and mother.
