Obituaries » Maryann (Butruce) Baker June 11, 2022 Maryann (Butruce) Baker June 11, 2022 Maryann (Butruce) Baker, 69, of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Peter and Helen Rychwalski Butruce. Maryann was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, class of 1971 and East Stroudsburg University, class of 1975. Maryann was employed for many years as a supervisor for AT&T. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Brice and by her brother, Peter Butruce Jr. Maryann is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Phillip Baker and by her children Karla Bosher, Nashville, TN and Dana and Thomas Bosher of Kennesaw, Georgia. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Ashleigh and Emily; brother, David Butruce and his wife, Katherine, Shavertown, brother-in-law, Edward Brice, FL; and by her nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:30 am in Our Lady of Fatima Parish at St. Mary’s Church of the Immaculate Conception, 134 S. Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Family and friends may gather for a visitation from 4 -7 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
