Obituaries » Olga Evanick January 17, 2021 Olga Evanick January 17, 2020 Olga Evanick, 93, formerly of Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away on Sunday, January, 17, 2020, at River Run Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, Kingston. Olga was born in Wilkes-Barre Township, a daughter of the late George and Mary Rodzinak Nat. Prior to its closing, Olga had been a member of St. Joseph’s Monastery in Wilkes-Barre Township, where she was also a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. Olga was preceded in death by her husband Michael in 1987, daughter, Claire Demko, son-in-law, Ronald Demko, and by numerous brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children, Janet Spencer and Alex, Troy, MI, Barbara Kearney and John, Plains Township, Michael Evanick and Tony, Bonita Springs, FL; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister Theresa Havely; numerous nieces and nephews. Olga’s family would like to thank Dr. Mera and the entire staff at River Run Health Care & Rehabilitation Center for their excellent and compassionate care.` Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre.
