Patricia A. Eichhorn

Patricia A. Eichhorn, 73, of Trucksville, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017, in Celtic Hospice at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.


She was born in Wilkes-Barre on April 26, 1944, a daughter of the late Henry Boniface and Adele M. Bertulis Banks.  Patricia was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School.


Patricia was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lake Silkworth.  She was a former member of St. Boniface Church and its choir in Wilkes-Barre.  She was formerly active with the P.T.O. at St. Boniface Parochial School.  Patricia loved to read and write poetry.


She was preceded in death by her sons, Donald and Jerry Eichhorn and by her granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Eichhorn and her son-in-law, John Feher.


Patricia is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerome R. Eichhorn; children, David Eichhorn and his wife, Holly, Plains Twp., James Eichhorn and his wife, Joyce, Plains Twp. and Patricia Feher, Hunlock Creek; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2011 State Route 29, Hunlock Creek.   Family and friends attending the service are asked to go directly to the church.  Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.


Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5-8pm at the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2011 State Route 29, Hunlock Creek, PA  18621.
