To all of Mona's loving family--- I offer you my deepest condolences--my thoughts and prayers are with all of you---to those I had the privilege of meeting, and to those I "met" through Mona in conversation. Mona was certainly one of a kind---thoughtful, caring, and someone who always went that extra mile for her family & friends, and anyone in need. Her caring ways, helped my mother in so many ways--she became my mom's best friend later in life--and their friendship continued to grow. You are all lucky to have had such a treasure in your family! Thinking of you all, love to you---Tracey

To Tommy, George, Michael, Bill and all her relatives and friends: She was a woman who loved her family and was loved by many. She will be missed and remembered. Mona took such good care of our mother during her last years and was the last "new" person Phyllis loved. She totally deserved that love. We will miss you, Mona. Thank you for sharing your life, so much more than your job, with our family. Loving remembrance, Irene

My sincere sympathy to your family. My Mom was Hilda Griffith. We lived in Laurel Run. As a young child I used to love going with my MOM to get her hair done. The Gal who did my Mom's hair was so beautiful, happy, friendly and always smiling.. What a great Memory...May God hold you all in his hand and offer you peace.

What can one say about some one as special as Aunt Ramona or "Monie" I loved her many stories about the Ashford/Allan and Smith families. She tried to share that knowledge with all of us so we in turn could pass it on. The stories were sometimes funny, sometimes sad and always so fascinating. We have lost our encyclopedia of family. She was a well respected business woman ahead of her time. She waited a long time to marry but when she found Harry she found true love. I loved her and will miss her always for her many thoughtful loving ways. May she rest in peace with all her loved ones.

My name is Diane Ashford Kelly and my father was Harry Ashford who was Romona’s first cousin. Growing up I remember my Dad always talking about his favorite cousin Romona. Heaven gained another angel. To me aunt mommie as I called her since my childhood was such a beautiful woman. I remember playing in her beauty shop in Laurel run and her mom ain't Fannie. And the pixie hair cuts that me and my sister received. Rest easy now. And give my mom a hug from me. Love you always.♥️
