Bob Ell was the best man I ever knew. I worked closely with him for nearly seven years, and when I changed jobs to East Stroudsburg University, I committed to being the Bob Ell of the Poconos. Of course, I never quite met that goal, but I had enough success to believe he was pleased with my efforts. He was my mentor and friend. He helped me to learn the Susquehanna and the joy of living the Raparian life. I loved the river, as he did. And, of course his exceptional family. What a blessed life he lived, and what a blessing it has been to know him and his beautiful famil. I love you, Bob Ell. Will miss you forever!

May Bob rest in God’s loving embrace. Bob, Christine, Bonnie and families, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We were blessed to work with your Dad. He was such a kind and wonderful man of faith who served his alma mater and all of us with such passion and grace. May your memories of your Dad bring you comfort and joy. Blessings, Jim and Renee Bebla

Bob was a great friend to two generations of Mancini’s, Mark M., Class of ‘55 and Diane, Class of ‘75. He spread sunshine everywhere he went and was truly a large presence at King’s. We will miss his eternal, beautiful smile!

My sincere condolences go out to Bob's family members. What a great human being Bob was! He certainly was dedicated to his family, his religion and to King's College. What a gentleman! Being a graduate of King's and now having the privilege of being "the voice" of the King's football and basketball teams for more than 30 years I got to know Bob a lot during my college days and later as the public address announcer. He really enjoyed watching the Monarchs perform, particularly on the basketball court where he and late companion Jean could be seen sitting in the second deck. Rest in peace, Bob, and memory eternal. John Zimich

I knew Bob when I was a student at King's in the late 60's. Everyone at King's knew Bob as such a friendly and wonderful guy. I also saw him at many King's events since my graduation. He was always friendly and outgoing. He was a great guy and will surely be missed. John Mansfield Class of 1970
