Obituaries » Robert Lorusso January 11, 2023 Robert Lorusso January 11, 2023 Robert Lorusso, 66, of Limerick, PA, formerly of Wilkes-Barre passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late Samuel and Lydia DeCinti Lorusso. Robert was a graduate of Meyers High School and he attended Millersville University. He was employed as a programmer in the computer industry. Robert was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish at St. Mary’s Church of the Immaculate Conception in Wilkes-Barre. Robert’s greatest love and talents in life where faith, family, friends and music. He devoted all his time and talent to these. His love for family went far beyond the average uncle, brother role. It took on a spiritual role where he was these for everyone in need. Robert not only had a passion, but a talent for music with his keyboarding and angelic voice. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Lydia Lorusso. He is survived by sisters and brother, Linda Balutis, Wyoming, Mary Lorusso, Plains Township, Larry Lorusso and his wife, Joann, Wilkes-Barre, Ann Jones and her husband, Art, Mountain Top and Janet Dillon and her husband, Bill, Plains Township; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 am from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 am in Our Lady of Fatima Parish at St. Mary’s Church of the Immaculate Conception, 134 S. Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 8:30 – 9:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.
