Obituaries » Rosemary Bartlett October 17, 2023 Rosemary Bartlett October 17, 2023 Rosemary Bartlett, 76, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Wilkes-Barre passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in the Physicians Regional Medical Center, Naples, FL, with her loving husband, Roy, by her side. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late William and Ann Ellis Shehwen. Rosemary was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School and the David Blight Studio. Rosemary was Wyoming Valley’s Motorola Girl, she was an accomplished singer and dancer, having performed with Danny Thomas, Bobby Rydel and appeared on the Ted Mack TV show. She also judged talent at the Talent Olympics. Rosemary had a loving and giving heart. She founded the Bikes for Books Program. A program in Immokalee, Florida for migrant workers children. This program gives a new bike for the children grades K to 2nd grade, for showing positive learning abilities. She always had a smile on her face and would light up a room with her charm. The world is a lesser place without her in it, but peace is found knowing that she will be with God, the Angels and Saints. She was devoted to her patron Saint Theresa. Rosemary is survived by her husband, Roy Bartlett and by her daughter, Shelley Senghaas and her son, Shane Senghaas. She is also survived by the apple of her eye, her granddaughter, Issabella Ana. “My sweet Rosemary, I loved you from the moment I saw you and I will love you until I take my last breath.” Until we meet again, your loving husband. Divine Liturgy will be held on Friday, October 27th, at 11 am in St. Anthony-St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 311 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. Rev. Adib Salameh will officiate. A visitation for family and friends will be held in the Church from 10 am until the time of the service on Friday. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosemary’s memory to St. Anthony-St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 323 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
