Obituaries » Tina Marie Pockevich December 9, 2022 Tina Marie Pockevich December 9, 2022 Tina Marie Pockevich, 55, of Hunlock Creek, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 in Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She was born in Newark, NJ, a daughter of Joseph Garnett and Joan Eckert Garnett. Tina was a graduate of Nanticoke Area High School. She was formerly employed as a cook at the Holiday Inn in Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Garnett. In addition to her parents, Tina is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Ron Pockevich and her children, Josh Garnett, Hunlock Creek, Jess Mulchay, Hunlock Creek and Dave Stritzinger, Berwick. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Bethany Mulchay and Julia Garnett; brother, John Garnett and his wife, Deanna, Ashley, and by nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service celebrating Tina’s life will be held on Monday at 5 pm from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. Rev. James Nash will officiate.
